Such was the case for one customer, who was bonding trays for the fast food packaging industry and asked for our assistance. Wanting to increase their line speed, they were aware that the grab speed of their current adhesive was preventing them from running the machine to its full potential.

After the line was fully audited by the technical team, we were provided with samples of the PE coated trays for laboratory testing. As a result of the in-house testing, and from continuing to work closely with the customer, our team were able to develop a promising new bespoke product.

Samples of this product were manufactured for line trials, which we attended, and showed significantly improved results. Not only did the new adhesive grab quicker, but it also gave faster fibre tear and was viewed to be running clean at the new high speed. As a result, the customer was able to increase their production speed by over 65% and run the machine to its full potential at last.
